Canada - I wanted to mention about the petition going around for a fiddle show on CBC radio/tv. Though I grew up listening to alot of fiddle music, I have to say that there is a hell of a lot more to life then 4 strings, [5 if your playing a barcusbarry] a bridge, bow & a couple of f holes to fill in your holes [hint, hint!!] I mean really. Messer is gone & here we have Scott Woods going around keeping is music alive by putting on complete Don Messer shows. What did Messer "REALLY" contribute? Yes, he popularized the music by bringing it to the air & tv waves, but he was NOT much of a fiddler. He studied in Boston, but never let the people in on how great he might have been because he had to kiss ass by giving the people what they wanted instead of expanding there ears. Thank-you Mr. Messer, but there are new roads to travel for "EVERY" generation of fiddle lovers.

Congratulation Jacinthe!!!!
"You`re not getting older, you`re getting better". I suppose that there is a little bit of truth to this old saying or adage if you wish. But you`re certainly getting better as you get older---as someone who`s known you for quite some time, I can be an objective observer on that point.
To-day I had the good fortune to being part of an audience of your recital 2003, and found that, as always you came through with flying colors. The show was very well organized and coordinated as well as being very entertaining.
I know that you`ve work very hard to make this recital a success, and so it was. That you did it so well shows that you`re a true champion. And again congratulation for a job well done. Dan Legros

Canada - Friday, May 19, 2000 at 16:29:24 (EDT)Just a short note to thank you for a spectacular show at Iroquois Falls
on May 12th. My mom (Myrtle), Aunts Annette and Freda and myself,
really enjoyed each and every song you played. It was hard for my mom
to just sit in her seat and not get up to dance, as she loves to tap
dance. She bought your cassette and played it the next morning. As she
lives in the apartment upstairs at my house, I could hear her tap
dancing to your music. One of your songs really touched my heart, as it
reminded me of my grandfather who used to play that song on his fiddle
when I was a little girl (St. Anne's reel). Keep up the good work and
hope you have another chance to come to Iroquois Falls.

Canada - Tuesday, May 16, 2000 at 19:20:52 (EDT)Je viens d'arriver de ton concert a Iroquois Falls - c'etait fantastique!!!
Bon succes,
